Principal Product Designer (Remote)

Role overview Set design direction for a product area and shape clear, effective experiences for complex enterprise workflows. You’ll lead work from research and early concepts through launch, connect user needs with product strategy, and help raise design quality across the team through cross-functional leadership and mentorship.

Responsibilities - Own the user experience for a product area, guiding design from concept to release. - Conduct user interviews and usability studies when needed, and use findings to inform decisions. - Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interface designs that help teams align. - Partner with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to meet user and business needs. - Work with engineering to ensure designs are implemented to a high standard. - Contribute to the design system, mentor other designers, and promote user-centered practices.

Requirements - 8+ years of product design experience, including senior or principal-level leadership. - A portfolio demonstrating the design process and solutions to complex problems across device types and surfaces. - Expertise with design and prototyping tools. - Strong communication and collaboration skills across design, product, engineering, and business teams. - Self-direction, sound judgment, and ability to act effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have - Experience designing B2B or enterprise applications. - Experience contributing to or managing design systems. - Familiarity with automotive or wholesale marketplaces.
