About this role
Role overview This remote Technical Lead role owns global strategy and execution for endpoint management and collaboration tooling across more than 15,000 Windows, macOS, and mobile devices. The position leads three direct reports, manages MSP and vendor relationships, and drives consolidation work tied to ongoing M&A integration in a complex, fast-moving enterprise IT environment.
Responsibilities - Set global standards for endpoint provisioning and lifecycle management using Intune, Autopilot, and SOTI, while consolidating tools and policies across legacy and acquired environments. - Own the collaboration platform roadmap (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Entra) and partner with Legal, Product, and IT stakeholders to enforce policy and evolve the toolset. - Drive automation and end-user experience improvements through Nexthink, including NQL scripting and PowerShell-based workflows. - Manage MSP and vendor delivery, defining SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics to hold partners accountable. - Oversee patching and vulnerability remediation across Intune, Qualys, and SCCM, driving standardization across diverse environments. - Lead high-impact projects such as device management consolidation, license optimization, and endpoint readiness for warehouse management system conversions, while contributing to a 3–5 year End User Services strategy. - Mentor three global team members across US East Coast and UK time zones, fostering collaboration and high performance.
Requirements - 7+ years in technical roles focused on endpoint management and enterprise IT. - Proven experience managing MSPs and external vendors against delivery metrics. - Deep familiarity with Intune, Autopilot, SOTI, and Nexthink for digital employee experience. - Strong command of collaboration tools including Office 365, Teams, Slack, and Box. - Advanced experience scripting, software packaging, and process automation using tools such as UiPath and ServiceNow. - Background in patch management, desktop engineering, security best practices, and M&A-driven cross-platform standardization.
Nice to have - Working knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure environments and ability to interface across networking, data center, and product teams. - Comfort navigating complex, matrixed global organizations.
