Software Engineer Intern

Role overview A consumer financial technology company is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for an eight-week, full-time summer program in its New York City office. The intern will be embedded within the engineering organization, partnering with experienced engineers and cross-functional groups such as Platform and Product to contribute to live engineering initiatives.

Responsibilities - Collaborate with engineering team members on production projects that align with the intern's skills and interests. - Partner with cross-functional teams including Platform and Product to gain exposure to broader business workflows. - Attend recurring workshops covering technical skills, resume building, interview preparation, and professional development. - Receive coaching and feedback from a direct manager and a dedicated mentor throughout the program. - Present completed work to team members and peers at the end of the internship.

Requirements - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, with an expected graduation in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. - Prior software engineering internship experience, or a portfolio of substantial personal or academic projects. - Full-time availability from June 21 through August 13, 2027, with the ability to work on-site in the New York City office at least three to four days per week. - Demonstrated problem-solving ability, comfort with complex challenges, and clear written and verbal communication. - Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment. - Ownership mindset and enthusiasm for collaborative work in a high-growth setting.
