Power Platform/Azure Developer

Role overview

A blended Power Platform and Azure development role supporting the operations, maintenance, modernization, and enhancement of a mission-essential federal platform spanning Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform Government, SharePoint, and custom integration components. The position is designed for a hands-on developer who can move comfortably between low-code application work and Azure engineering, troubleshooting across applications, APIs, identity, data, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, integrate, deploy, monitor, and support Power Platform applications and Azure-enabled solutions across production and non-production environments. - Develop integrations between Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure, and other systems using APIs, connectors, messaging, and cloud services. - Build and support Azure application components such as Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Microsoft Graph API integrations. - Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Azure resources supporting applications, including patching, backups, disaster-recovery validation, and cloud consumption monitoring. - Participate in CI/CD, source and configuration management, automated and manual testing, release management, deployment, and post-release troubleshooting using GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and Power Platform deployment capabilities. - Provide Tier II/Tier III technical support, root-cause analysis, incident response, and service restoration, while maintaining technical documentation, deployment procedures, and knowledge articles.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. - 3–5+ years developing business applications, cloud applications, integrations, or workflow automation, with hands-on Power Platform and Microsoft Azure experience. - Practical experience with Azure application and integration services such as Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Key Vault, and Microsoft Graph API, and with Dataverse, SharePoint, or Microsoft Lists. - Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, plus working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, authorization, and application identity concepts. - Familiarity with .NET, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or comparable technologies used to extend Microsoft cloud solutions, along with CI/CD, source control, and production support experience. - Ability to diagnose issues spanning applications, cloud services, integrations, identity, and data.

Nice to have

- Front-end experience with AngularJS, Vue.js, React, jQuery, Blazor, or comparable frameworks, and Azure Monitor or Application Insights for diagnostics. - Familiarity with federal Section 508 accessibility, cybersecurity, privacy, records management, and system lifecycle requirements. - Microsoft certifications such as Power Platform Developer Associate or Azure Developer Associate, or current comparable credentials.
