Software Engineer, Native Delivery

Role overview

This foundational engineering role focuses on building the SDKs, on-device experiences, and backend systems that let marketers reach customers inside native apps and on the web through an agentic marketing platform. The engineer will be among the first on this surface area, shaping SDK design, host-application integration, and how the platform's backend ties it all together. The position emphasizes full ownership of projects from start to finish and direct customer collaboration.

Responsibilities

- Design and ship SDKs and libraries that external developers integrate into their own iOS, Android, React Native, and web applications - Build on-device systems for behavioral data collection, including custom events, screen views, and user attributes that batch locally before shipping to the backend - Implement on-device cross-channel orchestration, deciding what a user sees, on which device, and at which moment without duplicate or competing messages - Develop in-app messaging and custom on-device experiences, including local eligibility evaluation against rules pushed from the backend - Co-design the server APIs and backend systems that pair with the SDKs, reasoning about the full device-to-backend round-trip

Requirements

- High motivation and comfort operating in a fast-paced, startup-style environment with significant ownership - Curiosity and willingness to grow into unfamiliar parts of the stack; impact and potential matter more than years of experience - Solid engineering fundamentals and a product-minded approach to building developer-facing tools

Nice to have

- Native development experience across iOS, Android, or React Native, with enthusiasm for working across all of them - Prior experience shipping an SDK or library that other developers integrated into their own applications - Background designing systems that span a server, a network, and a client, where the contract between sides matters as much as the code

Benefits and work setup

- Base salary range: $180,000–$400,000 USD per year, location-independent under a remote-first policy - Meaningful equity compensation
