Director, Market Access Analytics (Remote)

Role overview Lead analytics strategy and delivery for solutions that help pharmaceutical and healthcare organizations understand reimbursement, coverage, and patient access. This director-level role combines team leadership with hands-on work: translating business questions into data methods, validating complex analyses, and turning results into practical guidance for clients and field teams.

Responsibilities - Lead implementation of analytics for market access products, field tools, and custom client work. - Integrate and analyze data such as formulary coverage, prescription and medical claims, healthcare professional records, payer and plan structures, geographic alignments, and CRM information. - Convert business needs into analytical approaches, rules, data requirements, and solutions that can scale. - Use MySQL, advanced Excel, Power BI, and other tools to examine large datasets and investigate data problems. - Develop insights and field messages at healthcare professional, account, payer, geographic, and national levels. - Own quality checks and reconciliation; guide solutions through requirements, development, testing, launch, refreshes, migrations, and enhancements. - Partner with technical, design, account, strategy, production, and data-provider teams; explain methods, findings, limits, and recommendations to clients. - Develop analytics team members and establish repeatable processes and quality standards.

Requirements - Deep understanding of pharmaceutical reimbursement, including payer channels, formularies, utilization management, payer and PBM relationships, plan structures, and patient access. - Experience leading market access analytics and translating complex data into actionable recommendations. - Strong hands-on data analysis and validation skills, including the ability to troubleshoot MySQL queries and perform Excel-based analysis. - Ability to lead and develop analysts while contributing directly to complex work. - Bachelor’s degree; a STEM or advanced degree, or equivalent experience, is preferred.

Nice to have - Familiarity with market access datasets such as IQVIA, MMIT, or Symphony Health. - Experience building healthcare professional or account-level analytics and field-facing solutions. - Familiarity with Veeva or other pharmaceutical CRM and field enablement tools. - Experience with payer hierarchies, geographic attribution, product launches, or major data migrations.
