Responsibilities - Review applications and services, including identity, billing, APIs, and customer-facing consoles; assess vulnerabilities and recommend secure designs. - Threat-model new products, features, and platform changes, and develop reusable standards, guardrails, and secure development patterns. - Validate vulnerability reports from internal tools, testing, and external researchers; rate severity using CVSS and assess practical impact. - Coordinate reproduction, prioritization, and remediation with engineering, platform, and infrastructure teams, tracking fixes through resolution. - Support security incident classification, escalation, responsible disclosure, root-cause analysis, and follow-up improvements. - Track vulnerability trends, resolution times, recurrence, researcher engagement, and other program measures; report risks and control gaps to leadership.
