About this role
Role overview We are looking for a Gaming Producer to support an engineering systems organization that keeps development workflows, builds, testing, and engineering systems running smoothly for a game studio. The role coordinates day-to-day execution across engineering, product, and QA, facilitates Agile ceremonies, and ensures release readiness progresses predictably across teams.
Responsibilities - Facilitate sprint ceremonies including stand-ups, planning, triage, office hours, and retrospectives, and manage velocity, capacity, milestones, and delivery commitments. - Build and maintain sprint and milestone dashboards, calendars, trackers, and transition checklists while monitoring backlog health with leads and product managers. - Coordinate release readiness activities, track critical-path work, consolidate changelog feedback, and partner with QA on validation plans, test plans, regression tracking, and release risks. - Prepare meeting invitations, agendas, pre-reads, and status questions, then run sessions either synchronously or asynchronously and ensure follow-through. - Maintain work-management documentation, action logs, and pipeline information, updating items with decisions, owners, status, and next steps. - Identify, track, and escalate risks, dependencies, blockers, and delivery concerns across technical, creative, product, and leadership stakeholders.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree plus at least two years of experience in engineering, product management, technical program management, data analysis, product development, or production. - Hands-on experience with work-management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence. - Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, velocity, capacity, and milestone delivery. - Experience coordinating projects or deliverables across multiple stakeholder groups. - Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiences, including creative professionals, programmers, product, and executive stakeholders. - Comfort operating in a changing environment and adapting priorities while staying productive and positive.
Nice to have - Bachelor's degree with four or more years of relevant experience, or equivalent background. - Producer or Technical Program Manager experience inside a game studio. - Four or more years managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, including complex initiatives with engineering, QA, product, and partner teams. - Track record of motivating cross-functional teams and resolving conflicts under tight deadlines. - Deep Agile execution experience with backlog management and release coordination in environments where predictability and dependency management matter.
Benefits and work setup - Remote position aligned to PST hours, with a Washington State-targeted hourly rate range of $30 to $35 USD depending on experience and qualifications. - Medical, dental, and vision coverage, Flexible Spending Account, 401(k) plan, competitive paid time off, parental leave, and professional growth opportunities.
