Role overview
Join an active cloud migration project as a senior business analyst, working with business stakeholders, developers, and testers to turn operational needs into clear requirements the delivery team can implement. The project involves moving case management and utilization management services for workers’ compensation and disability insurance from an organization’s data center to Azure. This is a hands-on analysis role, available full time and remotely from Latin America.
Responsibilities
- Elicit and document requirements by working directly with business stakeholders. - Convert business needs into functional specifications, requirements, and process flows. - Write user stories and acceptance criteria that support development and user acceptance testing. - Maintain backlog items and work tracking in Azure DevOps. - Break down requirements and explain them clearly to developers and testers. - Conduct technical interviews as part of a broader interviewer program.
Requirements
- Senior-level business analysis experience and the ability to contribute to an established project with limited onboarding. - Demonstrated experience gathering and documenting stakeholder requirements. - Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Practical SQL experience and strong analytical skills. - Technical understanding sufficient to work closely with software engineers. - Advanced English proficiency for collaboration with US-based stakeholders. - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
Nice to have
- A relevant business analysis or product ownership certification. - Experience with cloud or migration projects, particularly Azure. - Previous experience as a developer or engineer.
