Software Engineer - Container Fabric

Role overview

Join an internal Container Fabric team responsible for building and operating a large-scale Kubernetes platform that powers engineering workloads across a global organization. The role blends platform engineering, automation, and operational responsibility, with a focus on resilient, high-availability infrastructure that other teams rely on.

Responsibilities

- Operate and continuously improve a large Kubernetes platform, ensuring peak availability, performance, and reliability across regions - Design and evolve internal tooling and automation to reduce manual work and streamline platform delivery for other engineering groups - Manage Day 1 provisioning and Day 2 lifecycle operations for Kubernetes clusters, including scaling, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance - Participate in production on-call rotations, lead high-severity incident response, and drive follow-up improvements - Partner with infrastructure and platform peers to advance operational practices and platform evolution

Requirements

- Professional background in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering with hands-on experience managing production environments - Deep working knowledge of Kubernetes primitives such as Deployments, StatefulSets, and Services, plus experience building custom Kubernetes Operators - Strong proficiency in Go for systems programming and infrastructure automation - Demonstrated experience with production stability, monitoring, observability, and resolving high-severity incidents

Nice to have

- Familiarity with cloud-native auto-scaling technologies such as Karpenter or Cluster API - Practical experience with Helm charts and GitOps tooling like ArgoCD or Flux to manage continuous deployment workflows
