About this role
Role overview A senior customer-facing role on a Technical Success team for an observability platform, owning the post-sale technical relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers. The position blends technical depth, problem solving, and business acumen to drive adoption, expansion, and long-term advocacy across complex accounts.
Responsibilities - Own customer adoption, onboarding, and continued success across an assigned account base. - Forecast customer consumption and document opportunities, risks, and successes. - Lead all aspects of platform adoption, optimization, and integration within customer environments. - Partner with Sales to identify revenue opportunities through upsell of services and contract renewals. - Serve as the customer's voice with product and engineering, conveying feedback and influencing roadmap direction. - Maintain a deep understanding of each customer's business and how they use technology to grow.
Requirements - 5+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience in the software industry. - 3+ years of demonstrated experience working with enterprise customers. - Strong technical background combined with a sales and customer orientation. - Willingness to learn new technologies and interest in performance monitoring tools spanning infrastructure, application, web, mobile, or user experience. - Ability to keep project plans and documentation current, plus fluent English communication skills. - Field-based role with willingness to travel, including opportunities for extensive travel.
Nice to have - Familiarity with one or more development languages such as Java, .NET, Ruby, C, Python, Node.js, or Golang. - Exposure to cloud technologies including Kubernetes, containers, microservices, DevOps, or CI/CD. - Background in mobile device platforms and architectures for iOS and Android. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
