Role overview A senior technical architect position focused on designing AI agent experiences on the Salesforce platform, leading end-to-end solution design from initial concept through production deployment. The role partners with cross-functional teams and clients to translate business goals into well-architected agent solutions, with opportunities to extend into AWS and GCP environments.
Responsibilities - Lead full technical solution design, including agent topics, instructions, actions, supporting automation/code, deployment methods, and data structures - Collaborate with customers, project managers, solution architects, developers, and designers to translate business needs into well-architected solutions - Oversee all project lifecycle stages from initial design through development, testing, and deployment - Guide delivery teams on platform best practices spanning the broader Salesforce ecosystem and adjacent cloud platforms - Engage directly with clients to shape the right solution and drive it to production
Requirements - 6+ years in application or software development - 4+ years working with Salesforce in development or technical architecture roles - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Proficiency in Apex and JavaScript, plus working knowledge of modern languages such as Python, Java, or C# - Experience developing with Salesforce Flows, Lightning Web Components, or Visualforce - Experience designing and building AI agents, workflows, and automations on the platform, plus REST API integrations
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with Data 360 capabilities such as unstructured DMOs, retrievers, search indexes, RAG, and identity resolution - Familiarity with Agentforce Agent Script next-gen authoring - Background in agentic AI and generative AI systems - Knowledge of enhanced chat and omni-channel routing, Amazon Connect, and telephony platforms - Solution design experience on AWS or GCP, including Lambda functions - Use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code
