About this role

Role overview

A Product Engineering Manager position focused on leading technical development across a portfolio of Salesforce-based products, assets, and internal tools. The role blends hands-on engineering leadership with people management, guiding a team that builds AI-enhanced solutions in close collaboration with customers.

Responsibilities

- Direct end-to-end development of new and existing products, reusable assets, and implementation tools on the Salesforce platform. - Lead hands-on solution design, prototyping, build, and testing within a fast-paced, customer-facing engineering environment. - Make architectural, packaging, and DevOps decisions that shape how solutions are delivered and maintained at scale. - Partner with product owners, engineering leads, and developers to assess demand, groom prioritized work, and finalize scalable designs. - Run the full software development lifecycle from ideation and planning through deployment and post-launch iteration. - Coach the team on effective use of AI-assisted development tools alongside native Salesforce capabilities such as Lightning Web Components, Flow, Apex, and the console.

Requirements

- At least eight years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a solid grasp of architectural concepts, capabilities, and constraints. - Strong background in object-oriented programming and common design patterns. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field. - Prior experience managing technical team members. - Demonstrated work with Salesforce integrations and Agentforce-based solutions. - Strong analytical skills and clear communication in collaborative settings.

Nice to have

- Familiarity with Service Cloud and Service Cloud Voice. - Experience publishing Salesforce managed packages or submitting listings to AppExchange. - Front-end development skills such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. - Background building digital channel or contact center applications. - Hands-on AWS development experience.

Benefits and work setup

- Remote-friendly model with optional in-person time at regional hubs for those who prefer it. - Travel up to roughly 25% may be expected depending on project needs. - Outcome-oriented flexibility rather than rigid scheduling. - Open feedback culture with regular forums for questions and suggestions. - Team environment that emphasizes both serious delivery and shared celebration of milestones.
