Remote job
Forward Deployed Engineer, AI & Agentforce
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Build and demonstrate AI agents for customer-facing engagements, helping organizations test ideas, validate technical feasibility, and see how agentic systems could address business needs. The work is organized around short, fast-moving prototypes and demonstrations, with ownership of technical design, iteration, and direct customer collaboration rather than long-term implementation delivery.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into working agent solutions, including subagents, guardrails, actions, and data models. - Lead technical discussions with customers, demonstrate progress, gather feedback, and manage scope through each engagement. - Build rapid prototypes and competitive evaluations, adapting solutions as customer needs emerge. - Present technical choices in terms of business outcomes such as service deflection, handling time, operating costs, and user sentiment. - Troubleshoot agent behavior, workflows, integrations, and execution issues under tight timelines; surface risks and constraints early. - Deliver live demonstrations and collaborate with pursuit and delivery colleagues to keep engagements moving.
Requirements
- At least four years in client-facing technical delivery, consulting, or solution engineering, including work with key stakeholders at decision points. - At least two years building hands-on solutions with Agentforce, Service Cloud, or comparable agentic AI architectures. - Active Salesforce credentials, such as Agentforce Specialist, Platform Developer I, or System Administrator. - Ability to prototype quickly and investigate issues in Flows, Apex, or agent execution traces. - Understanding of enterprise integrations, data models, and platform boundaries. - Clear communication of technical trade-offs and business impact; comfort working at a rapid pace and using AI tools to improve execution.
Benefits and work setup
The role is based in North America to align with client operating hours. Remote and in-person arrangements are described, with travel potentially reaching 25% for some roles.
