Role overview This customer-facing engineering role focuses on transforming how large enterprises and managed service providers run their network operations. The position blends deep network engineering expertise with hands-on solution delivery and customer enablement, partnering directly with clients to identify high-impact automation targets and build them on a no-code network automation platform. It is suited to a senior engineer who enjoys traveling to client sites and leaving teams self-sufficient after the engagement ends.
Responsibilities - Identify high-impact automation targets inside customers' network operations by analyzing ITSM data and reviewing existing playbooks, designs, and tooling - Architect and build automation for critical network operations tasks using runbooks, query-based applications, data views, and third-party integrations - Train and develop customer engineers so they can continue building and extending automation independently after the engagement - Collaborate with vendor partners and research public-domain material to expand the available automation content library - Contribute to the broader evolution of how network operations are automated across global enterprises and managed services providers
Requirements - United States citizenship - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in software development, network engineering, network automation, or related roles - Solid understanding of common network operations tools such as network monitoring, incident management, and log analysis platforms - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with clear written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams - Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements and workshops
Benefits and work setup - Estimated base compensation in the range of $130,000 to $160,000 plus bonus, with the actual offer dependent on qualifications and market factors - Comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) and medical/dental coverage in addition to cash compensation
