About this role
Role overview Own the tools and workflows clinicians use to coordinate care for whole households across home visits and virtual settings. You’ll improve the existing clinical workflow, shape a clinician-facing product alongside the EHR, and help migrate clinical work from an older system while keeping day-to-day care running.
Responsibilities - Map the clinician’s work across the EHR and other tools, and improve how those tools support a full day of care. - Design, build, and maintain encounter plans, templates, text macros, order sets, and clinical content. - Help determine which clinician workflows belong in a new application and build part of that clinician-facing experience. - Review workflows being moved from a legacy system, preserve essential clinical needs, and remove requirements that no longer serve the work. - Talk with clinicians after visits and observe their work to distinguish workflow, training, and content issues. - Document decisions clearly and coordinate changes across clinical, product, and support teams.
Requirements - Clinical training such as RN, NP, PA, or LCSW, or at least three years in clinical informatics working directly with clinicians. - At least three years in clinical informatics, EHR configuration, or clinical product management. - Hands-on experience building clinical templates, order sets, or documentation workflows. - Fluency in SQL and an ability to reason about clinical records such as encounters, problems, orders, and claims, including inconsistencies between them. - A real project built with an agentic coding assistant; prototypes, internal tools, automations, and personal projects are relevant. - Clear written communication, sound product judgment, and willingness to work directly with clinicians in a fast-changing environment.
Nice to have - Experience with athenaOne, FHIR or HL7 interoperability, value-based care measures, home-based care, or complex care.
