Senior Consulting Engineer - Milan

Role overview A senior consulting role based in Milan, leading complex client engagements for a graph intelligence platform used by large enterprises. The position blends hands-on technical delivery with client-facing consulting, designing and implementing solutions while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across sales, product, and customer success teams.

Responsibilities - Lead and manage consulting projects from inception through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and successful outcomes. - Work with clients to understand business goals, technical requirements, and existing challenges. - Conduct in-depth technical assessments and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. - Design and architect solutions across a range of technologies and platforms to address client needs. - Provide hands-on implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting support in client environments. - Mentor and guide junior consulting engineers within the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and customer success for a seamless client experience. - Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, offering proactive recommendations to clients. - Develop and deliver technical training sessions and workshops. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including project plans, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus. - Proven experience as a Consulting Engineer or in a similar client-facing technical role, with a track record of successful project delivery. - Broad technical understanding across networking, security, cloud, and infrastructure. - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Hands-on experience with implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting in client environments. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about technical solutions. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong organizational and project management skills. - Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
