Role overview
A Senior Product Manager position leading the development and commercialization of diagnostic product lines, including flagship prenatal screening offerings. The role owns the full product lifecycle from concept through obsolescence and combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across highly cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the multi-year roadmap for designated product lines, balancing new features, service components, and lifecycle planning. - Translate customer needs and operational constraints into clear, testable product requirements. - Define and track quantitative performance indicators, identifying improvement strategies across functional teams. - Lead voice-of-customer research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking to validate features and grow market share. - Build business cases and financial models that justify new opportunities and inform investment decisions. - Partner with product marketing on positioning, launch plans, pricing, and key collateral development.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a physical or life science, statistics, engineering, or related quantitative discipline; PhD preferred. - At least eight years of professional experience, including four to five years in product management, solution marketing, product commercialization, or strategic consulting. - Background in life sciences, with familiarity in prenatal products, medical devices, or diagnostics strongly preferred. - Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority. - Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing data-backed arguments and presentations. - Solid organizational skills and comfort managing multiple concurrent initiatives with high attention to detail.

- Experience applying basic financial or economic modeling to product decisions. - Prior success as a scientific or technical project lead transitioning from a research and development environment.
