Role overview
Senior product manager role owning the internal tooling surface used by a 24/7 human-led Security Operations Center. The position drives analyst-facing products that turn manual response processes into repeatable, automation-first workflows and serves as the foundation layer consumed by adjacent product teams.
Responsibilities
- Set SOC tooling vision and strategy with product leadership and SOC heads, articulating business value to executive stakeholders - Own the roadmap for analyst UX, rapid and tactical response tooling, product support, and the SOC platform - Serve as primary steward of the shared investigation and evidence model, publishing interfaces that downstream product teams build on - Partner with SOC leadership and analysts to convert manual, out-of-product processes into standardized, automation-first workflows - Drive analyst-built improvements from internal tooling into the native product - Define operational metrics such as time-to-close, throughput per analyst, and delivery repeatability, while protecting a capacity floor for resiliency and technical debt
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management with prior hands-on experience as a security analyst, incident responder, security engineer, or software engineer - Experience owning shared services or platform interfaces consumed by other product teams - Demonstrated experience designing and delivering products that use AI tools and technologies - Comfort with operational metrics and the ability to make an investment case not denominated in new revenue - Experience working in an agile development environment with agile tooling - Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
