Senior Wireless Network Engineer (Remote)

Role overview Serve as a senior technical leader within an enterprise mobility practice, architecting and delivering complex wireless engagements for customers from discovery through implementation, validation, optimization, and operational transition. This is a consulting-oriented role that combines deep RF and WLAN expertise with mentoring and the development of technical standards.

Responsibilities - Architect and design scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise wireless solutions, including high-density, voice, location services, and business-critical environments - Lead customer discovery, develop high-level and low-level designs, BOMs, SOW inputs, and other solution documentation - Plan and execute predictive, passive, active, AP-on-a-stick, validation, and spectrum-analysis wireless surveys using Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Sidekick - Lead deployment, migration, upgrade, and modernization of enterprise wireless environments, including cutover planning and post-deployment validation - Perform advanced troubleshooting of complex RF and WLAN performance issues and optimize environments based on RF analysis - Mentor engineers and contribute to technical standards, reusable delivery assets, and improved practice methodologies

Requirements - 8+ years architecting, designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting enterprise wireless solutions - Deep expertise in RF engineering, WLAN architecture, and IEEE 802.11 technologies - Professional services or consulting experience with direct customer interaction - Advanced hands-on experience with Ekahau Pro and Ekahau Sidekick - Strong enterprise networking foundation across switching, routing, identity, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, TACACS+, 802.1X, and network segmentation - Experience with multiple enterprise wireless platforms such as Cisco, Juniper Mist, Aruba, Meraki, Ruckus, or Extreme Networks - Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex customer engagements - Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills - Ability and willingness to travel to customer locations, including occasional after-hours maintenance windows

Nice to have - Experience producing implementation plans, test plans, rollback procedures, and operational transition documentation - Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and contributing to technical standards and best practices
