A leadership opportunity for an experienced solutions engineering manager to oversee a high-performing pre-sales team focused on Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) clients across the Americas. The role sits at the intersection of AI-driven customer experience technology, technical selling, and regulated enterprise environments. The successful candidate will shape scalable pre-sales motions while coaching engineers who partner closely with sales, product, and customer success counterparts.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of solutions engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and customer obsession - Build repeatable pre-sales methodologies and best practices tailored to a high-volume FSI segment spanning diverse sub-industries - Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent who combine strong technical depth with exceptional communication and storytelling skills - Partner with sales leadership, account executives, and customer success teams to align on pipeline strategy, account coverage, and customer outcomes - Collaborate with product and engineering to surface commercial feedback, advocate for roadmap priorities, and resolve escalations - Define team KPIs, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics, using data to continuously improve effectiveness and mitigate deal risk - Work with professional services to ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales into implementation and value realization
Requirements
- 7+ years in solution engineering or pre-sales roles, with at least 3–5+ years managing teams - Deep domain expertise in Financial Services and Insurance, including navigating complex enterprise deals, procurement cycles, and regulatory standards such as PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FINRA, and HIPAA - Hands-on experience with AI-powered SaaS solutions, ideally applied to customer experience or contact center contexts - Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage credibly with technical buyers and translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences - Excellent communication and executive presence, comfortable navigating C-level conversations and managing escalations with composure - Consulting mindset with a passion for coaching others and helping customers solve hard problems with innovative technology
Nice to have
- Background in contact center, CCaaS, or broader customer experience technology - Familiarity with how AI is applied across customer experience and engagement workflows
