Role overview Senior pre-sales cybersecurity role partnering with account teams to design scalable security architectures, lead client discovery sessions, and shape solution strategy. The position blends deep technical expertise with client-facing consulting, supporting deals across enterprise environments in a remote U.S.-based setting.
Responsibilities - Architect comprehensive, scalable cybersecurity solutions spanning Zero Trust, secure access, and advanced threat protection. - Lead discovery sessions, assess complex client environments, and present tailored high-value security recommendations. - Prepare and maintain detailed proposals, architectural diagrams, statements of work, BOMs, and RFP responses. - Partner with cross-functional sales and engineering teams to align security strategy with business and IT objectives. - Provide thought leadership on cybersecurity best practices, emerging trends, and vendor selection guidance. - Stay current on evolving threats, frameworks, and technologies, and mentor junior team members as needed.
Requirements - Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience across architecture, engineering, and strategy. - Hands-on experience with at least one of: Cloudflare, CrowdStrike, Okta, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks. - Deep expertise with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework. - Demonstrated ability to lead high-level stakeholder discussions and drive consensus across teams. - Strong client relationship management and large-scale project delivery skills. - Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have - Advanced certifications such as CISSP or CISM. - Experience with EDR/XDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security automation.
Benefits and work setup Remote within the U.S. Listed NYC pay range is $220,000–$300,000 OTE (base plus bonus/commission), with compensation varying by geography.
