Forward Deployed Engineer, Enterprise - Berlin 🇩🇪

Role overview Lead the technical delivery and continued improvement of AI agents used in debt collection by banks and large lenders. Working with customer technical and operations teams, you’ll take deployments from scoping and proof of concept to production, then monitor results and refine agent behavior and outreach strategy. The role is based in Berlin and covers Germany and the wider DACH region.

Responsibilities - Own enterprise agent delivery, from early scoping through implementation, testing, evaluation and launch. - Convert customer policies into agent actions, safeguards and escalation procedures for sensitive collection conversations. - Develop prompts and agent logic for identification, negotiation and payment interactions across languages and channels. - Configure outreach schedules, retry limits, channel mix, payment links and human handoffs to meet customer requirements and local rules. - Build evaluation and regression tests, integrate with banking, collections, data and telephony systems, and diagnose issues from operational traces and logs. - Use SQL and dashboards to track contact and payment outcomes, communicate findings and improve deployed agents.

Requirements - Background in software engineering, technical consulting or technical product management. - Ability to code, use SQL and APIs, and build end-to-end integrations. - Hands-on experience with LLM prompting, evaluation, safeguards, tool use or test harnesses. - Experience delivering production systems for enterprise clients and improving them through structured testing. - Strong stakeholder communication, planning skills and comfort with ambiguity. - Native-level German and fluent English.

Nice to have - Banking, lending, collections or regulated communications experience. - Voice AI or telephony experience. - A computer science, engineering or mathematics degree, or equivalent experience.
