Jr. Software Engineer, AI Agent Platform

Role overview Join an engineering team building real-time voice AI for emergency response workflows. The platform is designed to support human call takers by handling non-emergency interactions and easing administrative work. You’ll contribute across AI pipelines, backend services, telephony, and user-facing features, with close attention to reliability, security, and product quality in a mission-critical setting.

Responsibilities - Build real-time voice AI features for emergency response workflows. - Develop and operate LLM-powered systems that assist human emergency call takers. - Contribute across the stack, including backend services, AI pipelines, and frontend interfaces. - Work with experienced engineers on core product features and platform architecture. - Use AI agents to support development while carefully reviewing and validating results.

Requirements - Software engineering experience building and maintaining production features. - Ability to work across backend systems and user-facing product surfaces. - Interest or experience in AI-powered applications, including LLM-based systems. - Care for reliability, security, and quality in software used in high-consequence workflows. - Good engineering judgment and willingness to take responsibility for the work that ships.
