About this role

Role overview

Set product direction for customer-facing banking experiences, including how customers discover and use financial products in an app. You’ll lead one or more cross-functional teams to build the strategy, platform capabilities and experience improvements needed as the customer base and its financial needs grow. A central focus is personalisation: making the app more relevant to different customers while improving engagement and customer value.

Responsibilities

- Define a product vision and strategy for your area and align it with customer needs and business goals. - Lead teams delivering product capabilities and improvements to the in-app experience. - Shape personalisation and discovery experiences, then measure their effects on customers and the business. - Work across engineering, design, data, research, marketing and other disciplines to set direction and deliver outcomes. - Communicate strategy and context so teams and stakeholders can make informed decisions. - Coach and mentor product managers, offering clear, constructive feedback and helping teams improve.

Requirements

- Significant product management experience, including leading teams that have delivered consumer products in a fast-growing environment. - A track record in personalisation or discovery products, such as recommendation systems, with demonstrable customer and business impact. - Data-informed and commercially aware; able to partner with data scientists or machine-learning specialists to set metrics, run experiments and assess results. - Strong judgement and structured problem-solving in complex situations with competing priorities. - Skilled at building alignment across disciplines and communicating a compelling product direction. - Commitment to customer value, continuous learning and honest evaluation of product performance; experience mentoring other product managers.
