Full-Stack Developer (Python + React)

Role overview

Build features across a healthcare platform used by clinics for electronic health records and medical billing. You’ll take work from planning through implementation and release, covering backend APIs, user interfaces, database changes, and tests. Accuracy and careful handling of access matter because the system supports clinical records, insurance claims, and payments.

Responsibilities - Develop Django or Django REST Framework APIs and React with TypeScript interfaces, along with schema changes and tests. - Write a brief design plan before coding and explain your implementation choices in review. - Run and check your own work, find issues, and fix them before review. - Navigate an established codebase, make changes carefully, and improve clarity where practical. - Learn relevant clinic workflows, including scheduling, claims, and payment posting, to deliver requested features.

Requirements - At least one year of professional Python web development, or substantial personal projects you can explain in detail. - Python web framework experience, such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI, and understanding of REST API design. - React and TypeScript skills, including state, routing, asynchronous behavior, and API integration. - SQL and ORM experience; ability to read schemas, write queries with joins, and reason about the effects of database migrations. - Comfort with Git and a Unix-based operating system. - Habit of writing tests and checking application behavior directly; ability to read unfamiliar code and discuss your work clearly.

Benefits and work setup - Full-time, remote work for people based in Romania; schedule is Monday to Friday, 12:00–21:00 EEST, including a one-hour lunch break. - Employment or independent contractor arrangements are available. Gross monthly pay is €2,000–€3,000, depending on demonstrated skills. - Work closely with the CTO, with mentoring and direct feedback.
