Sr Full Stack Engineer

Role overview

A background screening and occupational health platform that manages the full lifecycle from candidate PII collection through vendor orchestration, adjudication, and compliance-ready delivery is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer. The role spans a mature Rails monolith alongside a fleet of focused Go services in a domain where correctness, security, and speed all genuinely matter. It suits an engineer who enjoys owning features end-to-end and weaving AI tooling into the daily workflow.

Responsibilities

- Design and ship features across the Rails monolith and Go microservices, covering candidate portals, partner flows, I-9 workflows, and internal admin and adjudication tooling. - Extend ATS and partner integrations using webhooks, OAuth, and SFTP. - Orchestrate asynchronous vendor searches and reporting pipelines that aggregate data from external screening sources. - Pair with AI coding assistants, leverage automated AI code review on every PR, and use agentic tools without cutting corners. - Help build AI-powered platform capabilities such as document parsing, structured extraction from vendor records, and smarter automation of screening and adjudication workflows. - Own the full feature lifecycle: build it, test it (including major UX paths), review it, ship it, and monitor it in production.

Requirements

- Production experience building B2B SaaS applications at scale. - Solid Go skills, or equivalent backend experience with HTTP services, background workers, and comfort with concurrency. - Strong PostgreSQL skills with good instincts for relational data modeling. - A track record building and consuming REST APIs and third-party integrations such as webhooks, OAuth, and SFTP. - Comfort with server-rendered frontends (ERB, HTML, CSS) and a habit of writing well-tested code.

Nice to have

- MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and agentic tooling. - Background in background screening, HR tech, compliance, or risk domains.
