Remote job
Director of Product Program Management
Job details
About this role
Role overview
Build the operating system that helps a multi-product enterprise software organization plan, prioritize, launch, release, and communicate work consistently. The role connects Product with Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Enablement, Support, and other partners, turning strategy and portfolio commitments into visible, repeatable execution.
Responsibilities
- Establish the product operating rhythm across product lines, including planning cadences, decision rights, roadmap and backlog reviews, reporting, artifacts, and meeting practices. - Design and run launch and release readiness processes, including a shared calendar, tiered requirements, cross-functional checklists, readiness gates, and clear ownership of go-to-market workstreams. - Create trustworthy product operations reporting from usage data, telemetry, roadmap and delivery dashboards, customer feedback, and product tooling. - Coordinate dependencies and commitments across teams so shared-platform and connected-product initiatives are staffed, sequenced, and delivered. - Maintain a reliable portfolio view of milestones, forecasts, dates, risks, and trade-offs; surface slippage early with impact and response options. - Build playbooks, onboard product managers and partners, facilitate prioritization, and improve operating maturity as the organization scales.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years in enterprise B2B SaaS across product operations, product program or portfolio management, or technical program management. - Experience creating operating rhythms and launch processes, not only administering established ones. - Proven ownership of cross-functional launch and release management connecting Product with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams. - Experience working across a multi-product or platform portfolio with shared dependencies. - Fluency with roadmapping, backlog or agile practices, product analytics, and operational reporting that leadership can trust. - Strong systems thinking, organization, low-ego collaboration, and the ability to influence Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and other teams without formal authority.
Nice to have
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance software or other regulated-industry SaaS. - Experience bringing a platform or connected-suite offering to market.
Benefits and work setup
- The role can be performed fully remotely within the United States. - The source lists health, dental, vision, retirement matching, open paid time off, paid holidays and wellness days, parental leave, insurance options, professional development, recognition, and learning resources.
