Senior Director, Platform Prioritization & Delivery

Role overview

Build and run the organization-wide system for deciding which initiatives receive attention and capacity, and how delivery is tracked. You’ll establish practical standards, facilitate decisions among teams with competing priorities, and help leaders see what is underway, why it matters, and where work is at risk. The role includes managing four delivery managers across several business areas and reports to senior product leadership.

Responsibilities - Coach and develop a team of delivery managers, balancing workload across their focus areas. - Maintain a trusted portfolio tracker showing initiative status, stage, and rationale. - Lead recurring prioritization discussions and monthly and quarterly business reviews for executive decision-making. - Create delivery standards, processes, and tools that teams can use in their regular work. - Align product, engineering, data science, credit, marketing, finance, and legal or compliance stakeholders; resolve blockers and trade-offs. - Run post-initiative reviews and convert lessons into improvements to planning and delivery.

Requirements - Track record building processes that improve organizational delivery and speed to impact. - Experience leading and developing delivery, program, or organizational effectiveness teams. - End-to-end ownership of enterprise portfolio intake, prioritization, and execution tracking in a complex organization. - Experience in a regulated, technical environment, with autonomy to shape functional strategy. - Ability to align senior stakeholders across functions and bring groups to decisions without relying on direct authority. - Strong knowledge of modern delivery methods, operating cadences, and portfolio or workflow tools; sound judgment in adapting them to organizational needs.
