About this role
Role overview An Implementation Project Manager role leading end-to-end delivery of mortgage loan origination, point-of-sale, and core banking system integrations for new and existing customers. The position owns the full lifecycle from kickoff through testing, go-live, and transition to support, serving as the primary customer point of contact. It reports into Services Program Management and works closely with Implementation Analysts and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities - Schedule and lead major milestone meetings including kickoff, project charter review, and project closure. - Build and maintain project plans, resource assignments, milestones, and timelines in approved tools such as Smartsheet. - Serve as the primary customer point of contact, providing timely communication on status, risks, decisions, and next steps. - Drive customer accountability by monitoring deliverables, action items, dependencies, and readiness activities. - Act as the initial escalation contact and coordinate resolution with cross-functional teams and leadership. - Identify, document, and communicate project risks, issues, delays, and scope concerns to stakeholders and leadership. - Track cases and project administration in systems such as Salesforce and provide regular status and portfolio health updates. - Maintain project management procedures, templates, and operational documentation, recommending process improvements.
Requirements - Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple complex implementation projects concurrently while balancing competing priorities and stakeholder needs. - Strong skills in managing customer expectations, facilitating change management, and communicating project risk verbally and in writing. - Excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate project plans, documentation, action items, and status reporting. - Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams while adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
Nice to have - 3–5 years of relevant experience leading enterprise software deployments. - Hands-on experience with enterprise project management tools, Smartsheet preferred. - Familiarity with the mortgage industry, mortgage origination software, or financial technology solutions. - Experience using AI-powered tools such as Claude or Microsoft Copilot to streamline project management, communication, or documentation.
