Role overview Lead the end-to-end delivery of medical imaging software implementations across an assigned portfolio spanning cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. This senior leadership role owns delivery outcomes, utilization, and revenue targets, while managing a team of Implementation Project Managers responsible for enterprise healthcare IT rollouts.
Responsibilities - Direct the portfolio's delivery approach, including engagement sequencing, resource assignment, and readiness gates aligned to customer commitments and product availability. - Hold delivery discipline across every engagement, enforcing approved plans, documented scope, tracked risks, current status reporting, and clean transitions to support. - Drive out-of-scope requests toward change orders or documented declines, bringing rate, margin, and staffing-mix decisions to senior leadership with data-backed recommendations. - Own executive-level customer relationships, leading communications on at-risk engagements and managing the highest-visibility go-lives directly, including readiness criteria, command-center coverage, and rollback planning. - Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Implementation Project Managers, setting clear expectations, providing direct feedback, and assigning resources based on engagement complexity and individual capability. - Maintain accurate delivery data in PSA and CRM platforms so portfolio reporting remains reliable without rework.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. - 7+ years delivering enterprise software or healthcare IT implementation projects in a customer-facing capacity. - 3+ years leading people, specifically project managers or similar delivery professionals. - Credible technical grounding in system architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and data migration discussions. - Demonstrated ability to drive engagements to closure through ambiguity, competing priorities, and dependencies outside direct control. - Strong communication skills with hospital executives and internal leadership, including the ability to convey risk and recovery plans candidly.
Nice to have - Direct experience with medical imaging systems such as PACS, VNA, RIS, enterprise viewers, or modality worklist solutions. - Experience delivering cloud or SaaS migrations for healthcare customers, including environment provisioning, cutover planning, and validation. - Familiarity with DICOM, DICOMweb, and FHIR-based integration patterns. - PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification. - Experience building or scaling a delivery methodology inside a growing professional services organization. - Prior work in a regulated environment with quality-system or complaint-handling obligations.
