Middle Frontend Developer (React.js)

Role overview A mid-level frontend developer is needed to join a team building web applications for US-based clients across FinTech, SportsTech, MedTech, and other sectors. The work spans early-stage MVPs through mature products, with a stack centered on React, Node.js, and TypeScript and a remote-first setup operating within the Polish time zone.

Responsibilities - Write clean, maintainable code following current best practices. - Develop a working understanding of each product's business domain and translate that into technical decisions. - Contribute to product design improvements from a frontend perspective and discuss implementation trade-offs. - Participate in client meetings, gather requirements, and propose solutions in collaboration with the team. - Diagnose issues, share insights, and conduct peer code reviews. - Support other developers by sharing knowledge and suggesting better approaches.

Requirements - At least two years of hands-on React experience, including complex dashboards or custom solutions. - Working knowledge of React-based frameworks such as Next.js or Tanstack Start, TypeScript, and Docker containers. - Practical experience configuring Webpack, Babel, or similar build tools. - Experience testing React applications. - Familiarity with REST APIs and modern data-fetching tools such as React Query. - Solid grasp of modern JavaScript, including its strengths and pitfalls. - Hands-on use of AI coding tools (for example Claude Code, Cursor, or Zed), with the ability to critically review AI-generated work. - English at B2 level for US client communication and Polish at C1 for internal collaboration.

Nice to have - Curiosity about new frontend libraries and tools, including AI-assisted software development lifecycles and agent orchestration. - Familiarity with Scrum or other Agile methodologies and a sense of what matters most when building MVPs. - Open-source contributions.
