Data Contractor

Role overview This is a contract data position focused on supporting business reporting needs through query-based data extraction and report generation. The role sits within a larger industrial organization and serves as an entry-level learning opportunity for early-career data professionals. The work centers on producing reliable datasets, dashboards, and canned reports that downstream users depend on for operational and analytical decisions.

Responsibilities - Generate ad hoc reports and recurring datasets using system tools, database queries, and warehouse scripts under close supervision. - Pull and integrate data from multiple source systems to assemble the requested data elements. - Help program and maintain report templates, dashboards, canned reports, and end-user information portals. - Assist senior data informatics analysts with form design, format updates, and routine data generator maintenance. - Respond to information requests from internal stakeholders while learning established reporting standards and tooling.

Requirements - Approximately 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in data, reporting, or a related analytical function. - Familiarity with relational databases, data warehouses, and basic SQL or equivalent query languages. - Comfort working under close supervision while building technical depth in reporting tools and scripts. - Ability to combine data from multiple sources while preserving accuracy and consistency. - Willingness to complete additional job-related screening processes as a condition of employment.

Nice to have - Exposure to dashboard development or business intelligence platforms. - Strong attention to detail and an interest in growing into more independent analytical work over time.
