Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities - Build and automate data transformation pipelines using SQL, dbt, CI/CD, GitHub, and Google Cloud to feed enterprise partners. - Design intuitive Tableau (or similar) dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into clear business stories. - Develop subject matter expertise in the insurance domain to anticipate partner needs and tailor analytical outputs. - Recommend and implement data governance practices, validation checks, and automated unit tests to safeguard downstream analytics. - Monitor data quality through automated alerts and participate in an occasional on-call rotation. - Collaborate across analytics and engineering teams, sharing work, reviewing peers' output, and contributing to team decisions.

Requirements - 5+ years of strong SQL experience against cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, with efficient, cost-aware querying. - Solid understanding of data transformation and quality engineering (e.g., dbt, Airflow) and the broader SDLC, including Agile, CI/CD, and GitHub workflows. - Strong grasp of data organization, data modeling, and schema design. - Demonstrated ability to communicate findings through clear summaries, slides, whitepapers, notebooks, or BI dashboards. - Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants inside IDEs or agentic CLIs. - Familiarity documenting designs and code changes in tools like GitHub, Lucid, Jira, or Confluence.
