Senior Technical Training Project Manager

Role overview

A Senior Technical Training Project Manager role responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating employee training programs for a government intelligence and defense mission. The position blends program leadership with subject-matter guidance, managing multidisciplinary teams and aligning training outcomes to complex organizational priorities.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and evaluate technical and non-technical training plans and programs aligned to organizational needs - Monitor training programs, assess needs and operational results, and refine programs to improve efficiency and impact - Manage professional associates and supervisors with full accountability for team performance and results - Adapt departmental plans and set operational priorities to resolve resource challenges and meet service commitments - Provide subject-matter guidance to associates, colleagues, and customers, integrating industry best practices into delivery - Identify and resolve complex business problems within organizational policies, budgets, and resource constraints - Influence internal and external stakeholders to drive program innovation while maintaining service quality

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years, Master's with 10+ years, or Doctorate with 8+ years of experience supervising and leading technical or non-technical training - Demonstrated experience managing professional associates or supervisors with accountability for team results - Military-style technical or non-technical training and instructional design experience - Track record adapting departmental plans, setting priorities, and managing resource and budget requirements - Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to guide, influence, and persuade stakeholders - U.S. citizenship required - Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% of the year to assignment locations

Benefits and work setup

- Projected compensation range of $139,700 to $250,700 USD; final rate may vary with experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location - Benefits may include health insurance, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, short- and long-term disability, retirement and savings plans, learning and development opportunities, and wellness programs, with additional optional benefits - Fully remote within the U.S., supporting assignment locations in Virginia, Florida, Maryland, and other sites as needed
