Role overview A remote opening for an SAP Data Services Tester focused on validating the reliability and performance of enterprise SAP implementations. The role sits at the intersection of business requirements and technical execution, translating functional blueprints into executable test scenarios that ensure go-live readiness. Work supports defense-sector projects with a public-trust clearance pathway.
Responsibilities - Design test scenarios from functional blueprints and translate requirements into executable cases for major modules such as S/4HANA, Finance, and Supply Chain. - Execute unit, integration, performance, and regression testing across multiple SAP modules. - Manage defects end-to-end through SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM, including troubleshooting, test data handling, and defect tracing. - Facilitate user acceptance testing, acting as a bridge between developers and end-users to secure client sign-off. - Develop test strategies and plans, identifying scope, duration, and phasing for complex test efforts. - Partner with technical teams to document, escalate, and resolve issues discovered during execution.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field. - One to three years of SAP S/4HANA testing experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation. - Working knowledge of SAP functional domains (for example SD, MM, FICO, or EWM) and their standard transaction codes. - Hands-on experience with Agile environments, CI/CD pipelines, and data mapping. - Test automation proficiency in enterprise tools such as Tricentis Tosca, Worksoft Certify, or OpenText UFT One. - U.S. citizenship with willingness to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability and a Tier 2 investigation for DoD Common Access Card eligibility.
Benefits and work setup Fully remote position within the United States. Projected compensation range is $89,100 to $148,200, influenced by contract wage determination, work experience, skills, geographic location, education, certifications, and federal contract labor categories.
