Solutions Engineer III

Role overview We are seeking a senior Solutions Engineer to partner with the European sales organization as the technical lead across the sales cycle. The role blends discovery, solution design, and live demonstrations to convert complex customer challenges into clear technical wins for consumer brands working to reduce supply chain risk. It is a remote, individual-contributor position based in the United Kingdom or Italy, with roughly half the calendar spent traveling to customer sites and industry events.

Responsibilities - Lead discovery sessions with SMB, mid-market, and enterprise prospects to map current workflows, pain points, and business requirements. - Design and deliver tailored product demonstrations several times per week, both virtually and on-site at customer locations. - Translate business needs into scalable solution designs, including integration approaches and longer-term technical roadmaps for customer stakeholders. - Own the technical side of the deal, including RFP and RFI responses, information security questionnaires, and Statements of Work that document final scope. - Support marketing at trade shows, webinars, and industry events, and channel customer insight back to product and R&D. - Partner with Customer Success to ensure clean handoffs into implementation and onboarding.

Requirements - Willingness to travel around 50% of the time across the UK, Europe, and occasionally the US, including overnight stays. - Full professional fluency in English and the existing right to work in the UK or Italy. - At least two years in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or solutions consulting role for SaaS or enterprise software, OR two or more years of hands-on experience administering PLM, quality, compliance, or supply chain systems in food and beverage, nutraceuticals, CPG, or retail. - Strong technical grounding in APIs, system integrations, SaaS deployments, and web technologies. - Working proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Nice to have - Professional proficiency in Italian, with French or Portuguese, or any additional European language considered a plus. - Domain experience in food and beverage, nutraceuticals, CPG, or retail, such as formulation, regulatory compliance, quality, or supplier management. - Familiarity with AI technologies, ideally including hands-on exposure to agentic AI solutions. - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience with PLM, QMS, supplier compliance platforms, or workflow and automation tooling.
