Role overview A Documentation Engineer II position focused on creating and maintaining technical documentation, tutorials, and sample code for a headless content management system. The role sits at the intersection of developer relations and technical content, helping developers, partner agencies, and customers understand and get value from the platform. It is a fully remote position based in Poland with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities - Build deep expertise in the headless CMS and its ecosystem, guiding developers and partners on how to adopt headless architecture. - Create and maintain developer tutorials, guides, FAQ entries, and API documentation. - Write sample applications, prototypes, and code snippets that demonstrate the flexibility of the platform and a headless approach to content. - Help teammates unblock work, resolve issues, and complete tasks, occasionally mentoring others in an empathetic way. - Continuously learn new features and industry trends to keep documentation accurate, current, and high quality.
Requirements - 5+ years of web development experience. - Proven track record in technical writing and documentation. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - Working knowledge of Git and at least one modern JavaScript framework such as Vue, React, Next, Nuxt, Astro, or Svelte. - Solid understanding of consuming RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is a plus. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to work independently. - Familiarity with CMS concepts; headless CMS experience is a plus. - AI literacy, with the ability to use AI tools productively while applying sound judgment.
Nice to have - Experience with GraphQL APIs and headless CMS platforms.
