Director, Technical Project Manager

Role overview A senior executive-level technical project management role overseeing complex technology initiatives for federal government customers. The position is fully remote with up to 25% travel and requires an active Top Secret clearance. The leader directs large cross-functional teams, drives architectural strategy, and aligns IT, capability, and hardware programs with broader mission and business goals.

Responsibilities - Drive overall architectural design and strategy across complex federal programs. - Secure delivery pipelines to maintain the highest standards of system integrity. - Deliver automated infrastructure tailored for mission-critical federal environments. - Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams of technical project and program managers. - Manage relationships across engineering, product development, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders. - Oversee complex technology initiatives to align capability delivery with broader business goals.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 10+ years of technical project management leadership experience. - Proven track record leading, mentoring, and scaling teams of technical program managers. - Demonstrated experience driving architectural design and delivering automated infrastructure in federal environments. - Hands-on expertise securing delivery pipelines and managing complex technology initiatives. - Strong background managing relationships across engineering, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders. - Active Top Secret clearance.

Nice to have - Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration. - Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification. - Deep knowledge of automated infrastructure and secured delivery pipelines within federal environments. - Exceptional executive communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills.
