About this role
Role overview Provide software packaging, application deployment, and systems administration support for a federal healthcare program supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. The work centers on preparing, validating, and deploying application packages through Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager across lab, test, and production environments. This is a remote U.S. role that requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities - Prepare, configure, test, validate, and deploy application packages using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager across laboratory, testing, and production environments. - Support application delivery in virtualized and multi-session environments. - Package and deploy applications securely and reliably in line with enterprise standards. - Maintain dependable application delivery for a large federal enterprise. - Support mission-critical systems used by healthcare providers and federal employees nationwide.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another technical discipline, or a minimum of six years of relevant work experience. - 4 to 7 or more years of system administration experience with strong Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager skills. - Strong understanding of MSI and MST packaging concepts and the ability to perform package reviews. - Working knowledge of PowerShell for automation, troubleshooting, and scripting. - Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot MECM deployment logs. - Experience with VMware vSphere, multi-session environments, and Windows operating system internals. - Strong working knowledge of Active Directory. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a track record in demanding, customer service-oriented settings. - Demonstrated success working remotely. - U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and the ability to obtain a government Public Trust clearance.
Nice to have - Certifications such as Microsoft MECM, MD-102 or MD-104, VMware VCP, Azure Fundamentals, or Security+. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Azure services. - Prior experience working with federal government clients, especially the Department of Veterans Affairs. - Experience collaborating with testers and packagers.
