Senior Product Data Analyst

Role overview

A senior product data analyst position focused on shaping the product analytics foundation of a fast-growing cloud development platform. The role involves connecting user journeys across an emulator, IDE extension, console, documentation, and website to deliver a single, unified view of customer behavior. It combines deep analytical investigation, data modeling, and strategic recommendations that influence pricing, packaging, and growth decisions.

Responsibilities

- Build and evangelize product analytics foundations that deliver a 360-degree customer view across PLG and SLG channels - Connect the user journey across the emulator, CLI, IDE extension, console, documentation site, and website for human, CI, and AI-agent users - Translate complex datasets into actionable insights and strategic recommendations that drive measurable product outcomes - Map current data flows and partner with technical teams to design enrichment that supports the analytics vision - Develop insights that demonstrate customer ROI in collaboration with customer-facing teams

Requirements

- 7+ years in a data analytics role with a strong focus on product analytics - Experience modeling a unified system with architecture-level thinking - Strong complex SQL skills, ideally plus Python - Hands-on experience with web and product analytics tools such as Posthog, GA4, Segment, RudderStack, Heap, Amplitude, or Contentsquare - Experience using AI-assisted coding tools to prototype and iterate across analysis, modeling, instrumentation, and visualization
