Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Build and operate backend services for a platform that helps construction teams manage project information and collaborate using structured data. You’ll contribute across the software lifecycle, from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, while working with frontend colleagues and supporting other engineers.

Responsibilities - Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain backend systems using C# and .NET. - Develop new product features and improve existing parts of the platform. - Integrate server-side services with user-facing application features. - Write maintainable code, troubleshoot issues, and apply security and data-protection measures. - Take part in code reviews and help establish sound engineering practices. - Share technical guidance and knowledge with less experienced engineers.

Requirements - At least five years of software development experience with C# and .NET. - Experience with cloud environments and cloud-native distributed systems. - Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, data stores such as SQL or NoSQL, and messaging or event-driven systems. - Ability to write robust, testable code and apply established design principles. - A collaborative, proactive approach, with clear communication and ownership of work.

Nice to have - Experience with graph databases, especially Neo4j; Terraform; or React.
