DevOps Engineer/ Technical Integration Lead

Role overview Lead DevOps and technical integration work for a nationwide enterprise electronic health record modernization program. The position focuses on building reliable software delivery practices and managing environments and releases across a complex, security-sensitive system, while coordinating engineering teams and providing technical direction.

Responsibilities - Research, assess, design, develop, and integrate solutions for DevOps and platform engineering needs. - Build and sustain automated pipelines for software builds, testing, deployments, and continuous delivery. - Coordinate release and environment management, configuration control, and repeatable deployments across enterprise environments. - Improve automation, deployment reliability, observability, and operational consistency while supporting secure engineering practices. - Provide technical leadership on complex DevOps, integration, and engineering work, coordinating across systems and delivery teams. - Direct or supervise a broad group of systems engineers when assigned.

Requirements - Master’s degree and 15 years of relevant experience, with education and experience substitutable year for year under applicable labor-category equivalency rules; they cannot be double-counted. - Experience implementing and sustaining enterprise DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, deployments, and release processes. - Experience with environment management, configuration control, scripting or automation, and troubleshooting complex integrated systems. - Experience providing technical leadership for complex engineering efforts.

Nice to have - Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, containers or orchestration, automated testing, and observability tools. - Background supporting regulated, healthcare, or other security-sensitive enterprise environments.
