Technical Solutions Engineer
Job details
About this role
Role overview A legaltech platform serving law firms and regulated businesses is hiring a Technical Solutions Engineer to sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer delivery. The role focuses on scoping, deploying, and supporting integrations between the platform and external practice management and document management systems used by clients. It is a hands-on, customer-facing technical position within a fast-scaling, AI-driven environment that prizes autonomy, rigour, and pace.
Responsibilities - Own the technical workstream for customer launches: scope integrations at kick-off, coordinate with customer IT teams and third parties, configure and deploy, and verify everything works before and after go-live. - Activate and monitor the installed base, helping existing clients adopt available integrations and ensuring customer teams extract full value from connected capabilities. - Act as the technical counterpart to implementation partners by defining delivery plans, reviewing configurations before go-live, and serving as the quality gate on partner-delivered work. - Partner with the integration engineering team to productise deployments, making each launch faster, less manual, and more repeatable over time. - Support commercial teams during prospect and customer conversations as the technical voice, including running discovery with customer developers and scoping integration requirements. - Contribute to API and partner enablement across a growing catalogue of practice management and document management integrations.
Requirements - Comfort owning the customer-facing side of technical deployments and collaborating across sales, customer success, support, engineering, product, and partner teams. - Strong working knowledge of APIs and common integration patterns, with the ability to dive into data sync mechanics and resolve technical issues hands-on. - Ability to build relationships with developer teams while also presenting clearly to non-technical stakeholders about value and trade-offs. - Sound judgement on when to engage, when to productise, and when to push back on requirements. - Comfort with ambiguity, adapting to new tooling and platforms, and shipping daily across a broad, evolving tech stack. - A proactive customer mindset: initiating value-driving conversations with clients rather than waiting for inbound requests.
Nice to have - Hands-on experience with practice management or document management platforms such as Clio, Actionstep, NetDocuments, or iManage. - Background in legaltech or other regulated, high-stakes software environments. - Familiarity with scaling integration programs across a partner ecosystem.
