Senior .NET Engineer (UK)

Role overview Build and improve cloud applications using C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure, taking product features from early design through production. The role combines hands-on engineering with technical guidance, code quality ownership, and collaboration across product and engineering disciplines. Projects may include healthcare, financial products, or large-scale commerce systems.

Responsibilities - Design and deliver secure, reliable, scalable applications on Azure. - Own features end to end, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment. - Write maintainable code and unit tests, and improve existing systems through refactoring. - Contribute to architecture and design decisions, favoring practical, straightforward solutions. - Support other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and constructive feedback. - Improve production quality through monitoring, security practices, and CI/CD.

Requirements - Strong experience building software with C# and .NET. - Experience designing and delivering cloud applications on Azure, using SQL. - Ability to produce clean, tested, maintainable code and make sound design decisions. - Experience taking substantial features from concept to production. - Clear communication, including asynchronous updates, design documentation, and raising issues early. - Comfort working independently in a distributed, evolving environment and contributing to peer feedback.

Nice to have - Experience mentoring engineers and participating in collaborative design reviews. - Interest in domains such as healthcare, fintech, or SaaS commerce.
