Senior Software Engineer 2

Role overview Design, build, and maintain enterprise applications across the presentation, business, and data access layers. This role contributes to an established product codebase, working across backend and frontend development while taking part in technical decisions, testing, troubleshooting, and Agile delivery with a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities - Develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise software using C# and .NET. - Build solutions within a layered or n tier architecture, spanning service logic, user interfaces, and data access. - Create responsive, maintainable interfaces with JavaScript and a modern frontend framework. - Design and improve database solutions, and work with REST APIs and service oriented application components. - Participate in technical design discussions, troubleshoot application issues, and contribute to architectural choices. - Write maintainable, tested code, document implementation decisions, and collaborate through Agile planning, refinement, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements - At least seven years of enterprise experience with C# and .NET. - At least five years of JavaScript development, including frontend work with Angular or React. - Strong understanding of layered application architecture, data structures, algorithms, system design, REST APIs, and database management, including NoSQL. - Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern development practices. - Experience designing and using relational or document databases, and contributing to an existing codebase. - Strong analytical, problem solving, written, verbal, and technical communication skills, with the ability to work well on a team.

Nice to have - Experience with RavenDB or MongoDB, single page applications, or service oriented architectures. - Experience with React, Ember.js, or Angular.
