Senior IT Project Manager (German C1 Required)

Role overview Lead complex IT projects, migrations, and infrastructure initiatives from planning through rollout, combining technical problem solving with senior stakeholder coordination. The work spans Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory environments, with responsibility for aligning delivery to business needs and supporting the CIO. This is a remote, full-time role requiring fluent German communication with business teams.

Responsibilities - Plan and deliver IT projects and migration initiatives through implementation and adoption. - Manage and improve Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory environments. - Coordinate cross-functional teams and work with business departments to shape suitable IT solutions. - Resolve complex technical escalations and develop durable fixes for critical service disruptions. - Oversee external providers and software vendors to support quality and timely delivery. - Organize system rollouts, testing, and end-user training; design digital processes that improve operational efficiency.

Requirements - Significant experience delivering complex IT projects, infrastructure changes, or migrations. - Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory. - Ability to manage stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external suppliers. - German proficiency at C1 level and strong communication with business audiences. - Capability to investigate technical issues and guide solutions from initial assessment to implementation.

Nice to have - Knowledge of IT security principles, frameworks, or technologies. - Experience with MS Project, Jira, or ServiceNow PPM. - PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification. - Experience in SaaS or technology-led organizations, or working directly with C-level executives.
