Role overview
The Staff Product Designer, Growth will define how customers discover, adopt, and combine multiple products within a homeowner-focused digital experience. This senior individual contributor role centers on high-impact, ambiguous growth problems, beginning with a ground-up redesign of an internal sales-agent interface and expanding into cross-product journeys, new product introduction, experimentation, and growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Lead the framing and resolution of complex growth problems that span multiple products and lack a predefined brief. - Create seamless attachment and cross-sell journeys so customers can move naturally into additional products. - Shape how new products are introduced alongside products customers already use. - Own the design vision for the sales-agent interface from problem definition through launch and measurable workflow improvement. - Establish the quality bar for growth design and influence strategy, roadmaps, and prioritization. - Improve how the growth organization experiments, learns, and reuses successful approaches. - Use AI tools to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and detailed design work.
Requirements
- Staff-level product design judgment and the ability to operate as a senior individual contributor without direct reports. - Demonstrated ability to set design vision and strategy for high-visibility customer or operational experiences. - Strong systems thinking across multiple products, journeys, and business objectives. - Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, influence decisions outside design, and connect design choices to measurable outcomes. - Experience taking complex work from problem framing through shipped, evaluated experiences. - Willingness to use data, experimentation, and customer insight to guide decisions.
