Senior Software Engineer

Role overview This senior engineering role involves designing, building, and maintaining software features for a trust and security platform serving large enterprises and public-sector organizations. The position is remote within the United States, focused on EST or CST hours, and centers on collaborative problem solving across architecture, code quality, and developer mentorship. It is a full-time opportunity for a senior individual contributor who can balance hands-on coding with strategic technical leadership.

Responsibilities - Design, implement, and maintain software features and underlying functionality - Conduct code reviews, manage pull requests, and enforce coding standards across the team - Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to resolve complex technical challenges - Diagnose performance bottlenecks and drive improvements to development processes - Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on projects - Work with QA teams on testing efforts and contribute to product support when needed - Produce technical documentation and project reports - Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and iterative development cycles

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4-6 years of professional software engineering experience - Proficiency in design patterns, software architecture, and advanced debugging - Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and influence technical decisions - Deep familiarity with code optimization and continuous integration practices - Strong communication skills and a strategic, ownership-oriented mindset
