Backend Cloud Architect

Role overview Design and build backend infrastructure for an unmanned traffic management system that supports large numbers of concurrent drone missions. The role focuses on distributed services, highly available mission control, live telemetry, and geospatial data.

Responsibilities - Design backend microservices using Go and Node.js. - Operate Kubernetes clusters to support reliable mission-control services. - Implement WebSocket-based streaming for real-time telemetry. - Improve database queries and data handling for geospatial workloads using PostGIS.

Requirements - Experience scaling distributed systems on AWS or Azure. - Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. - Knowledge of MQTT and WebSockets. - Experience with time-series databases.
